I will hopefully be using this site as a sort of online window into my journey of rediscovering writing, for now. "Rediscovering writing?" You say? A good few years ago I finished my final english exams, with a bare passing grade, and from that point on never studied single whisper of english again. It was by a long shot my least favourite subject and I was sure I would never write a single piece of creative writing again. I did not know what I was missing out on. Very slowly but surely, I've been reading here and there, and to my surprise enjoying it. At first I did it out of necessity due to a strong belief that I needed to train some "reading stamina" in order to be able to struggle through the academic books my university courses required. I do think that worked. But as I read more and more books, I started to realize how much I really enjoyed them. Onto writing, these past few years I've noticed my imagination has been quite active, I could not exactly pinpoint it to an exact reason, but there are often days I can just feel myself screaming for an outlet to stream out all sorts of fantastical ideas in some sort of fugue-like script. I've also been drawing a little bit but I think I'll keep my child-like scribbles to myself for now, I have a long way to go with art, not that it isn't fun. I do hope one day I'll get round to to showing some of my drawings on here. It's what this site should be all about For now though, please expect absolutely nothing but a fellow human trying to find some things that they left behind many years ago.
