Writing prompt: under the floorboards "Well here we are", my boss, Abe, said. The house was tall and seemed to cast a shadow over all the other houses around it. "I don't expect the job should be that hard, people in creepy houses like this tend to get creeped out pretty quickly and throw all reasoning out the window the second anything odd starts happening. If anything I'm surprised we didn't get called here years ago. I worked as part as a small family business, I'm not part of the family however, actually I'm the only worker that doesn't. We get called in by mostly old people to make sure their houses are in good living condition, normally we only get called in once things get out of hand though to decide what work needs to be done and help them get everything fixed as easy as possible. All in all a pretty easy job. We go in, see what's wrong, and call the right guys to solve the problems.
